Junior Digital Marketer

Responsibilities

  • Work with marketing team to optimise effectiveness of campaigns
  • Liaise with admissions team to gauge efficacy of campaigns
  • Write copy for campaign materials which aligns with the company’s brand and tone
  • Schedule, draft, send mailers to target audience groups
  • Manage organisation’s social accounts across relevant platforms and channels, responding to clients and potential clients in a timely manner
  • Optimise, implement and maintain PPC and SEO strategies
  • Use AdWords and digital campaigns effectively: analyse page clicks, keyword hits, organic vs paid traffic
  • Research and analyse the market landscape to identify new opportunities for the business
  • Research products, services and strategies to identify new opportunities for the business
  • Be knowledgeable of audience's consumer behaviour and proactively suggest new ways to leverage it
  • Improve conversion rates of campaigns to increase sales
  • Monitor and work within project budgets
  • Track, and meet short-, medium- and long-term project targets
  • Document and report on research, campaigns and strategies
  • Report to direct supervisor per schedule and on request

 

Experience

  • 2-3 years relevant experience

Bonus:

  • Digital marketing certification
  • Personal interest in education and technology

 

Requirements

  • Demonstrated understanding of how marketing and sales work together
  • Up to date with industry best practises, online platforms and tools
  • Fundamental understanding of PPC and SEO
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proactive and critical approach to problem solving
  • Able to self-manage in order to meet targets on multiple projects
  • Able to work in a team and to report critically on met and unmet targets
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Driven to produce high quality work

 

Job Details

Full-time: 09:00-17:00 Mon-Friday

Location: 403 Old Castle Brewery; 6 Beach Road, Woodstock, Cape Town
