Junior Marketer (Events & PR)

Responsibilities

  • Represent CodeSpace at external events, embodying the brand, culture and values of the company
  • Plan, implement and report on community engagement events
  • Host workshops with various organisational stakeholders, including prospective clients, students and team
  • Manage invitations, RSVPs, attendance and ongoing communications for hosted events
  • Manage logistics of hosted events, taking the lead in setup and setdown of physical space
  • Plan, organise and attend radio and TV campaigns
  • Connect with schools and conduct on-site demonstrations
  • Proactively research and implement methods to increase sales
  • Proactively find industry relevant events for team and students to attend
  • Use, maintain and improve event implementation documentation
  • Conduct after action reviews with team to continually improve processes
  • Collect, record and share attendee feedback on events
  • Maintain and build client database
  • Monitor and work within project budgets
  • Track and meet short-, medium- and long-term project targets
  • Report to direct supervisor per schedule and on request

Experience 

  • 2-3 years relevant experience

Job Details

Full-time: 09:00-17:00 Mon-Friday

Location: 403 Old Castle Brewery; 6 Beach Road, Woodstock, Cape Town
